THE PGI 990 ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROPHOTOMETER

The PGI 990 Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer is available in the following configuration:

• Flame Only

• Graphite Furnace

• Combined Flame and Graphite Furnace.

The system is fully controlled from a PC with AAWin Software. The main features of the system are:

• 8 Hollow Cathode Lamp Motorised Lamp Turret. The lamp is also automatically positioned to ensure maximum energy and sensitivity.

• Motorised burner positioning - controlled from the PC.

• To change from Flame to Graphite Furnace mode is again controlled from the PC. The graphite furnace being an integral part of the instrument is motor driven to the correct position.
